**About You**:
You are a true Category and Sourcing professional with proven client engagement skills. You have also had the opportunity to work across a broad mix of categories. Ideally you will have worked in a medium sized organisation and enjoy working to develop processes and frameworks and ways of working for the internal stakeholder you will support.

The essential skills and qualifications you need:

- Strong knowledge and demonstrated experience of Category Management and Strategic Sourcing principles, frameworks and practices
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to influence stakeholders and interact with staff at all levels of the business
- Analytical interpretation and problem solving skills
- A high level of business acumen
- Procure to Pay (P2P) knowledge including buying channels and processes
- IT procurement would be ideal

**Your new role**:
You will join a small Procurement function midst of establishing organisational frameworks, strategic sourcing and discipline around category management and will be a key contributor to this evolution. You will manage a variety of categories and vendors with accountability for end to end sourcing activities and providing leadership and expertise.

You will also be responsible for:

- Working collaboratively with customers and partners to deliver complex sourcing activities
- Undertaking market trend analysis, best practice and consider innovative approaches to strategic sourcing
- Leading negotiations to establish and review supply arrangements
