Leading Manufacturing Company (Western Suburbs) looking for a Procurement Category Manager (12 month role)

**Your new company**
This leading Manufacturing Technology Company requires a Procurement Category Manager to join their team at a great rate of pay. This market leader prides itself in blue-ribbon market-leading products. This job is located in Sydney’s Western Suburbs.

**Your new role**
In your new position, you will be managing the procurement lifecycle of your assigned category, including category development and analysis, new product development, supplier management and improvement. You will be part of the Supply Chain team. You will be liaising directly with internal and external stakeholders to achieve the business outcomes and you will be providing guidance to junior team members. You will be responsible for conducting regular reviews to achieve cost reduction and minimise risk.

**What you'll need to succeed**
In order to be considered for this position, you will have:

- Qualifications/Experience working in Electronics Engineering or a similar technical role
- An understanding of product development cycle
- Experience of data preparation, analysis and presentation and ERP
- Extensive knowledge of the of the Microsoft Office Suite, namely Excel and experience with BI tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

**What you'll get in return**
In return you will get a full-time 12 month role. You will be working 37.5 hours a week and based in the Western Suburbs. Hybrid working is also available for this position.
