Are you ready to lead the largest transformative change in the banking sector?

We are seeking a dynamic Leader, Lending & Enterprise Content Management (ECM) to join our Technology & Transformation team at Australia's leading mutual bank. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead a talented group who are dedicated to maintaining and enhancing our lending and Enterprise Content Management (ECM) platforms. Your technical leadership will be crucial in guiding the design, deployment, and continuous improvement of member-centric solutions that elevate the banking experience for both our members and employees. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that our offerings are reliable, scalable, and aligned with strategic business objectives.

This will include:

- Managing the Lending & ECM team, including conducing performance reviews, talent mapping, succession planning and driving individual development.
- Providing expert guidance on operational activities, collaborating with Technical Leads on incidents, problem resolution, and integration projects.
- Working with architects and stakeholders to design scalable, reliable, and secure Lending & ECM solutions that meet business and compliance needs.
- Leading production changes, ensuring adherence to ITIL standards and maintaining Secure, Stable & Resilient (SSR) practices to minimize impacts.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product owners and delivery leads, for seamless integration of Lending & ECM platforms.
- Promoting the adoption of agile practices like Scrum or Kanban and encouraging continuous improvement.
- Identifying bottlenecks and working with the team to implement optimization strategies.
- Defining testing strategies and conducting solution reviews to ensure high-quality deliveries.
- Communicating technical concepts and project updates effectively to management and relevant teams.

You will also be required to oversee and occasionally participate in an on-call schedule for the Lending & ECM team to maintain platform stability and availability, with appropriate compensation provided.

You may be required to occasionally travel interstate as part of this role; you will be leading and working within a distributed team.

**About you**

To be considered you will have proven leadership experience in IT operations, effectively managing both teams and technology. You will ideally have a track record of guiding a team to deliver complex software development and system configuration projects, as well as managing escalations when necessary. Strong collaboration skills are essential, as you will work closely with Technical Leads to enhance team knowledge and capabilities. Additionally, a thorough understanding of personal and residential lending processes within a financial institution is crucial for success in this role.

We also seek:

- Solid leadership experience in financial services and IT operations.
- Experience configuring or managing a Loan Origination System (LOS) and modelling personal and residential lending processes.
- Knowledge of third-party platform integrations
- Familiarity with Enterprise Content Management (ECM) platforms
