This is a great opportunity for qualified lifeguards or operational staff looking to step up who value water safety and love working with people, to provide leadership and coaching to our team.

**The Role**

The **Aquatic Operations Coordinator**primary responsibility is to co-ordinate day to day operations of the facility with the highest regard to safety and high-quality service delivery. You will be responsible for leading, coaching and engaging a team of Duty Managers and Lifeguards, hazard prevention and ensuring operational compliance with policies and procedures and statutory requirements.

This is a full-time role working from Tuesday to Saturday, including 8 hours direct service and 30 hours business administration. Hours are negotiable by mutual agreement. Incredible opportunity to thrive in a challenging site and build an operational career.

Skills & Attributes:

- Strong leadership experience with an ability to inspire others
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Sound knowledge of work health and safety legislative guidelines, evacuation and emergency procedures.
- Demonstrated experience of plant room management and Pool operations is essential
- Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends
- Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
- Working with Children's Check and Police Check
- ** Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate**:

- ** Current Pool Operations Certificate**

The Centre is well known within the eastern suburbs of Melbourne and has a great reputation for its facilities and customer service. Patron are provided with number of programs and facilities suitable for all ages including swimming classes, 24/7 gym membership, group fitness classes, cafe, Merchandise, Childcare, function rooms, four indoor heated pools, a spa and two outdoor seasonal pools.
