If you’re driven by purpose and excited to be part of something bigger, we’d love to have you on the journey. **About the role**: The Development Planning Lead for renewable energy projects provides planning, scheduling, and cost control support to ensure the Development of project schedules. The role is the accountable owner for Development schedules and support for Renewable Energy Projects and support including Battery Storage, Solar, Wind and Gas Generation business initiative infrastructure projects that will support the transition to new renewable energy sources. This is an exciting opportunity to join Origin and play a significant part in “Getting Energy Right” for the future. **Why this role matters?** - Create and track all internal development projects in Primavera P6 using CPM methods. - Comprehensively cover all pre-FID activities & approvals. - Report and inform schedule progress and movements and forecasts. - Manage weekly/monthly updates of schedules to internal stakeholders. - Review OEM schedules and identify schedule risks and opportunities for contract closures. - Optimize schedule logic in OEM schedules and review detailed Balance of Plant Contractors teams and resources. - Incorporate fully reviewed and baselined Contractor bid schedules to provide an integrated owner’s schedule that supports achievement of the project and business objectives. **What will you bring?** - Significant hands on project planning and associated experience in renewable energy generation, particularly BESS, Solar and Wind. - Primavera P6 Scheduling experience. - Experience implementing Quality Management processes. - Experience implementing project management processes - People management skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution skills. - Report development and generation skills. - Ability to review and analyse EoT claims. - Ability to present schedule and project management information to senior executive levels **So, why join us?** - 20 weeks of paid leave for primary carers with flexible return options. - Thrive in a culture of personal and professional growth. - Powering your career with unbeatable perks - Get discounted electricity, gas, and internet as an Origin employee - Origin 360 Electric Vehicles (EV) employee subscription offers a fantastic range of EVs, with flexible month-to-month plans and no lock-in contract. - Free and confidential counselling for employees and family members. - A great high energy team, that encourages interesting, rewarding, and engaging work **Origin - Where good change happens** At Origin, we’re powered by people who believe in creating change.
