**About the role**
The Merchandise Analyst Planner will be working with the Merchandise Managers within a category. This role will be jointly responsible for maximising sales, gross profit, and optimising inventory & GMROI. You will be

working closely with merchandise, supply chain and commercial finance teams as a true business partner. Your key responsibility will be to provide valuable insights through analysis of the merchandise categories to enhance decision making within the merchandise group. The Planner is responsible for maximising profitability by ensuring that they have the right product, in the right quantities, at the right time and in the right place.

**Skills and experience**
This role would be great for a strong, established Planner seeking the opportunity to gain experience working with multiple market leading retailers. To be successful for this position, you will need to be able to demonstrate the following key skills and experience:

- Operating at an established Planner level for a retailer, in a true retail environment
- OTB and WSSI management across your own categories/departments
- Option and range planning experience
- Honed IT systems and Excel skills, including Macros, Pivot Tables and V Look-Ups
- Commercial acumen
- Strong analytical skills
- Influencing and engaging both internal and external stakeholders effectively
