Our customer is a leading financial services company dedicated to providing innovative and reliable Insurance Premium Funding solutions. They are looking for a dynamic individual to join their in-house Collections team, providing national support to our Insurance Premium Funding division.

As a Loan Accounts Officer, you will report to the Loan Accounts Manager and play a crucial role in managing and collecting outstanding debts.

You will be responsible for assessing each account to determine the best strategy for collections, ensuring timely and effective recovery to maximize cash flow. Your key responsibilities will include:

- ** Debt Management**: Understanding how daily activities impact aged debt values, identifying and escalating debt queries and disputes, and assisting in their resolution.
- ** Relationship Management**: Maintaining positive relationships with brokers and customers throughout the collections process, ensuring customer goodwill.
- ** Reporting**: Keeping management and sales teams informed of emerging issues, including uncollectable accounts, and providing regular updates on collection activities.
- ** Compliance**: Adhering to company policies and collection procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- ** Experience**: Prior experience in collections or accounts receivable is beneficial. Experience dealing with administrators, liquidators, disputes, and hardship enquiries is a plus.
- ** Skills**: Strong communication and negotiation abilities, effective time management, organizational skills, and a high attention to detail. Proven ability to overcome obstacles and achieve results.
- ** Attributes**: A strong customer service ethic, both internally and externally, and the ability to achieve and maintain collection KPIs. A proactive approach and the ability to acquire new knowledge and skills quickly.
