Project Coordinator

An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced Project Coordinator to join Victoria University TAFE. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of the Local Government Victoria Earn and Learn project, acting as Victoria University's representative within a consortium of four dual-sector universities.

The Project Coordinator will manage the delivery of programs, assist in marketing, co-design, facilitate focus groups and industry partnership networks, and support / address critical skills gaps within local government areas (LGAs).

**About the Role**:
The Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in managing the project both operationally and strategically, implementing delivery plans, working amongst LGAs, and developing and monitoring expenditure budgets.

This dynamic role combines leadership, operational management, and strategic oversight to ensure that VU’s contribution to the Earn and Learn project is a successful one.

**This is a 24-month, fixed-term, full-time position, requiring 36.75 hours per week (1.0 FTE), at the classification level of HEP 8, with an annual salary range from**$108,472 to $122,154 plus 17% superannuation.**

**About You**:
You will have at least 5 years experience in positions such as project coordinator, senior educator, and learning designer within the Tertiary Education Sector. Additionally, your self-directed, patient, and flexible approach will be key to thriving in this position.

With the ability to operate with mínimal supervision and utilise your excellent organisational skills to complete cyclical tasks and meet deadlines, you will possess a comprehensive knowledge of the TAFE and Universities program delivery.

**Examples of duties you may perform will include**:

- Manage development and implementation of projects requiring a high degree of knowledge and sensitivity.
- Provision of high-quality and timely consultancy and advisory services.
- Conduct research, benchmarking, and data analysis.
- Prepare reports with recommendations to the consortium and other government stakeholders
- Work collaboratively with VU in the Community, utilising existing relationships.
- Works both at the operational and strategic levels.
- Responsible for continuous improvement of policies, procedures, and processes across multiple areas of operation and more broadly within the LGA community.
- Develop and maintain relationships with LGAs, industry, and community partners, ensuring timely and relevant communication channels with external and internal stakeholders.
