**ABOUT THE BRANCH**
The Future Made in Australia Office (the Office) will be responsible for the coordinated delivery of the Buy Australian Plan. The Office will drive engagement with Australian businesses and industry bodies to maximise opportunities for their participation in Commonwealth procurement and contracts. As a new branch in Finance, it will consolidate and build on existing procurement coordination, engagement and capability functions.
The Office will implement procurement reform through the following three streams of activity with multiple Executive Level 1 (Assistant Director) opportunities available in the following:
- Strategic Direction and Governance
- Procurement and Contract Management Capability
- Industry Engagement and Government Liaison

Multiple vacancies exist for high-performing, enthusiastic individuals and leaders to be part of a new Office that will be responsible for delivering the Government’s election commitments under the Buy Australian Plan.
The Buy Australian Plan outlines how the Government will use its buying power to help businesses and industry sectors grow, increase contracting opportunities for regional, Indigenous owned businesses and small and medium enterprises, improve economic, social and environmental outcomes through more effective national partnerships, and create more jobs.

**ELIGIBILITY ADVICE & CANDIDATE NOTES**

- Successful applicants will be required to undergo the process to obtain and maintain, or continue to hold the required security clearance level for the role as indicated in the downloadable job pack. All Finance staff are required to have a minimum baseline security clearance prior to commencement.
