As our **Head Gardener at Westgate Park**, you’ll play a key role in leading the gardening team and ensuring the park’s presentation is of the highest standard. You’ll oversee the daily operations of the gardens, support sustainable horticultural practices, and manage resources effectively to achieve outstanding results. Working closely with your team, you’ll make a visible difference to the natural environment and the community who enjoy it.

As a Head Gardener in the **Westgate Park** team, you’ll make a positive impact by:
- Leading and maintaining Westgate Park in Port Melbourne- Managing horticultural operations and maintenance schedules- Ensuring sustainable gardening and environmental practices- Overseeing procurement and use of tools, machinery, and materials- Coordinating with stakeholders to meet presentation standards- Monitoring safety compliance and risk management across operations

To be successful in this role you’ll have:
- Proven experience in horticulture, landscaping, or grounds management- Strong leadership and team management skills- Ability to plan, prioritise, and deliver multiple projects- Sound knowledge of sustainable horticultural practices- Valid Employee Working with Childrens Check (or willing to obtain at your own cost)- A qualification in Horticulture or similar (diploma or above)
