**The Opportunity**

**The role: IT Assurance Coordinator**

We are seeking an IT Assurance Coordinator to join our Information Technology team to be based in Sydney.

**Day-to-day, you'll be responsible for**:

- Processing IT invoices - ensuring accuracy and completeness; coding invoices to appropriate accounts and cost centres; coordinating approval process ensuring timely review and authorisation; liaising with vendors and Business finance teams to resolve any discrepancies.
- Providing guidance or assistance to IT Service owners in raising and receipting Purchase orders.
- Contributing to the tracking, allocation, and analysis of IT expenses.
- Contributing to the production of monthly financial results, quarterly forecast, and annual budget. Performing ad-hoc IT expense analysis as required.
- Assisting in the maintenance of IT policies and procedures to ensure they align with company objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Assisting in the implementation of IT controls and governance framework.
- Assisting in internal audits.
- Identifying areas of opportunity to deliver greater value to the department and business.
- Complying with WHS obligations and responsibilities in accordance with the requirements for this role as set out in legislation and the firms' policies and procedures.

**To be successful in this role we are looking for**:

- Experience of cost accounting and ability to interpret financial data is preferred.
- Pays attention to the quality and accuracy of their work.
- A keen interest in technology and the part it plays in supporting a business operate effectively.
- Strong inter-personal skills enabling strong professional relationships to be established.
- Use own initiative, be proactive and prioritise tasks to manage team and stakeholder expectations.
- Shows a willingness to go the extra mile to deliver an excellent service.
- Intermediate Excel & MS Office skills.
