**Job Description**:
The Strategic Sourcing Manager develops and implements strategic and tactical programmes to manage an assigned group of suppliers, optimise supplier expectations and build supplier relationships. The Strategic Sourcing Manager plays a key role in providing and communicating Supply Chain solutions to meet customers’ needs whilst maximising business outcomes.

**What are the main focus points of the role?**
- Working within the ANZ Purchasing Team to manage key categories within designated Food and Beverage portfolios for McDonald’s restaurants
- Staying current with category trends via research and benchmarking (e.g. commodity pricing, finished goods pricing, plant efficiency, supplier KPIs etc.)
- Collaborating with Product Development and Quality Assurance to source best quality, least cost ingredients to support business growth
- Category Management of designated Food and Beverage categories
- Supply planning in conjunction with our distributor
- Providing projections and Write Off Management

**Qualifications**:
**What skills do I need to be successful in the role?**
- At least 5 years demonstrated buying experience in food and beverage categories, non-food purchasing categories or related fields
- Experience in Category/Supplier Management
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to build rapport well
- Able to ambitiously take the lead to manage categories and responsibilities to achieve successful outcomes within the team
- Well organised with demonstrated project management and time management skills; able to set and work to tight deadlines at a fast pace
- Knowledgeable in commodity markets (highly advantageous)
- Strong in negotiation skills and an exceptional influencer who is able to work with others to shape business outcomes
- Able to provide constructive feedback that further adds value to the supplier relationship
