The Future Readiness team supports our Lead International Operated Markets **(LIOMs),** comprising of Australia, Canada, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom & Ireland.
**Job Description**:
**What is the purpose of this role?**
This role ensures the readiness of Global Technology for our Lead International Operated Markets (LIOMs). You will guarantee the quality of the global technology deliverables and validate these are ready to be adopted and scaled across our markets.
- Interact with the market local Technology teams to identify the prerequisite, the roadmap to standardise the technology. You will then align with the Segment Delivery Planning Manager and markets on a roadmap to prepare markets for the future.
- Manage the strategic technology vendor service team to support market in their adoption of the new technology and standards.
- Provide overall leadership & strategic direction to the service team overseeing the deployment of restaurant technology solutions, improving business adoption and solution standardisation.
**What team will I be part of?**
You will join the LIOM Future Readiness teams, Restaurant Technology Pillar which forms part of Global Technology. Our team comprises of: Strategy & Change, Planning & Alignment, Data Enablement, Digital Technology, Restaurant Technology and Tech Delivery.
**Who will my customers be?**
The role requires regular interaction across the wider LIOM Future Readiness team, Global Development and Engineering Teams and with our strategic Vendor for market services.
**What will my key responsibilities be?**
**Segment Delivery Readiness Manager**
- Understand the Global Engineering Team roadmap and assess requirements, impact for the Technology in our segment.
- Represent our market to guaranty current and future development are adequate to our segment estate or define the roadmap for our markets for their readiness.
- Act as liaison and bridging / facilitation communication and understanding between the Segment, our strategic vendor and global engineering / development
- Evaluate change objectives and new initiatives to ensure that customer demands are met, and value is realised as expected
- Provide quality assurance and production support as part of planned deployments to ensure maximum business value realization
- Build strong relationships, trust, rapport and empathy across markets vendors and global teams
- Ensure vendor strategies are communicated effectively internally and externally, and feedback is accurately captured and shared between the Segment and the vendor
- Share best practices across Market ensuring we are identifying and implementing best practices and standards
- Review and validate Market plans to ensure deliverables, pre-requisites, requirements, and quality will match the expected timelines.
- Establish dashboard to monitor the readiness of the solution, the quality of the deliverables, to measure the standardisation across the segment.
- With the Delivery Planning Manager, you will support Engineering team to prioritise the activities for the development resources and identify the common issues to be spanned to all markets.
