**What will you be doing?**
As the Payroll & Office Coordinator, you will run our payroll through an agency, making sure that our most important asset - our employee - get paid on time. This also includes maintaining and updating employee records, as well as managing various HR documents and internal data, such as leave and employee payroll forms. Importantly, you will need an administrative ability with a strict process orientation to ensure we maintain good records and follow through on outstanding matters. Additionally, you will assist our internal communications and act as the first point of contact to employees and external partners for all office related queries. In this role you will:
- Ensure all payments are on time, with zero defects, and work closely with payroll agency /Finance /Legal to deliver payroll in Australia and overseas.
- Partner with HR and Legal to maintain and update office policies and employee records.
- Organise the office layout and order stationery and equipment.
- Maintain the office condition and arrange necessary repairs.
- Address employees' queries regarding office management issues (e.g. stationery, Hardware and travel arrangements).
- Liaise with facility management vendors, including cleaning, catering and security services.
- You have previous Payroll and Administration experience, with an understanding of HR procedures. A general understanding of various industrial laws affecting payroll, processes and HR systems/data support is preferable.
- You are a problem solver - you aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves, identify problems, and devise thoughtful solutions.
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This is a cross-functional role, and therefore, you should be a cultural champion in the organisation.
- You have the ability to create and maintain positive relationships with employees at all levels of the global organisation.
