**The Role**:
Discovery Parks require an experienced Relief Park Manager to provide temporary/fixed term management to cover periods of leave or other absences across our network of Workstay parks (located predominantly in Queensland)

The role is uniquely designed to fit flexible individuals, to complete assignments varying in duration and ongoing consistency. Your skills and experience will allow you to hit the ground running and seamlessly operate the park in the managers absence. Note this role is a fixed term assignment only and there is no guarantee for ongoing employment.

Responsibilities include:

- Daily park operations - front office, housekeeping, grounds and maintenance
- Pre
- and post-handover reviews with the Park Manager/s
- Customer service and sales
- Manage the park team, including rostering, monitoring labour budget and work requirements of the park
- Monitor park budgets and room rate dynamic pricing
- Submit invoices, receipts in a timely manner
- Ad hoc recruitment and staff management

**Skills & Experience**:
We are looking for individuals with the following:

- Demonstrated skills and experience in workstay accommodation management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated experience managing budgets and financial reporting
- Proven and demonstrated experience in managing, developing and training staff
- Strong computer skills, especially in the MS Office suite
- A good understanding of yield management
- Previous experience with RMS or Newbook or similar reservation management system highly desirable
- Knowledge and understanding of WHS and responsibilities
- Mobility and flexibility to travel to different locations, including remote regions, sometimes at short notice
- Current manual driver’s license essential
- Provision of own transport / accommodation (e.g. caravan) to assist with logistics between and during assignments is preferable but not essential.

Though some of our parks are pet-friendly, given the nature of this role we are unable to accommodate pets for the duration of assignments.
