**About the company**

With a client base developed over 20+ years, Melbourne Marble & Granite specialises in the fabrication of custom stone benchtops across Victoria. Our production supervisor will oversee the people, process, quality and safety of the manufacturing processes. He will be required to bring technical and analytical expertise combined with strong organisational skills and an engaging approach to team development to drive solid improvement within the company. This hands-on leadership position requires someone who can organize, delegate, and oversee manufacturing processes while ensuring deadlines and quality standards are consistently met.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage, coordinate, and supervise daily factory operations.
- Organize and delegate tasks to factory staff to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Train and develop staff in manufacturing processes.
- Ensure production efficiency and a safe working environment is maintained without compromising quality.
- Troubleshoot issues effectively to minimize disruptions and interruptions.

**About You**

We are looking for someone with:

- Proven stonemason experience in factory and/or on site
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a small to mid-sized team.
- Excellent people management and organisational skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- Punctuality, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
- Good communication skills
- Strong and fit
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills
- Forklift license is a huge plus
