**Section Manufacturing Supervisor**

**Location: Melbourne Eastern Suburbs - Bayswater**

**Salary $60-65K**

**Permanent Position**

**Plastic Moulding Manufacturing company**

The Section Manufacturing Supervisor responsibility is to manage and co-ordinate production workflow to the operational requirements. They will manage a small production team efficiently and ensure a safe work environment delivering products, meeting quality standards and effectively communicate with other Section leaders.

**Manufacturing Practices**
- Coordinate Production workflow to achieve and execute against a production plan.
- Achieve scheduled production in the most efficient manner.
- Ensure stock holdings meet demand requirements within Company expectations.
- Maintain production environment in accordance with Lean principles.
- Ensure all processes are safe and work to achieve zero Loss Time Injuries.
- Participate in the implementation of continuous improvement actions.
- Control production levels and transactions.
- Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in producing, identifying, and assuring quality of materials.
- Achieve targets for quality, environment, scheduled production, and productivity in area of responsibility.

**People **Responsibility
- Manage the workforce to produce efficiently and perform alternative jobs where possible.
- Ensure all procedures are followed to meet quality and environmental standards.
- Drive team engagement and motivation.
- Maintain a safe working environment.
- Provide effective leadership through means of feedback, modelling positive and safety conscious behaviour and establishing clear expectations.
- Ensure all procedures are followed to meet quality and environmental standards.
- Train personnel in correct procedures, and for multi-skilling as required.
- Liaise with other departments with respect to smooth flow of product, product problems and manufacturing issues.

**Management **Systems
- Ensure compliance with Quality, Environmental and Safety standards.
- Ensure that processes and procedures are effectively implemented and actively support employees in carrying out their responsibilities.
- Monitor behaviours demonstrated and formally recognize positive input.
- Report on issues related to your area of responsibility, including safety, quality, security, maintenance and KPI’s.
- Prepared to work additional hours as and when required.
- Maintain strong and disciplined housekeeping practices.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Morning shift
- Night shift

**Experience**:

- Manufacturing: 3 years (required)
- Manufacturing Supervisor: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
