We are seeking a Project Officer to assist the Properties Unit by completing projects that include carrying out investigations into building maintenance faults, engaging specialist consultants, and evaluating reports. This position will project manage minor building works through the use of the City’s prequalified maintenance contractors, requests for quotes, or tender processes.
Reporting to the Facilities Engineer-Mechanical, this position will support the City by:
- Undertaking and coordinating projects, programs, or studies as directed by the Facilities Engineer
- Mechanical.
- Working across the organisation and building strong working relationships to support the ongoing identification, development, and delivery of all facilities and commercial leasing maintenance initiatives and programs.
- Undertaking, preparing, and ensuring maintenance documents are in accordance with relevant legislation, regulations, and Australian standards.
- Undertaking and preparing briefing notes, contract variations, memos, and general administrative tasks as required.
You will possess well-developed skills in writing technical documents such as procedures, policies, and projects, along with proven project management experience and contract management skills.
