Are you a dynamic and solutions focused Supply Chain/Continuous Improvement professional looking to join a global ASX listed blue chip organisation and take the next step in your career?
As part of the Customer Solutions and Product Development team, your role will be to participate in projects that will protect existing customer revenue, support the sales team with business growth targets and increase customer satisfaction, through customer intimacy and strategic partnerships. This is a critical role with high level exposure internally and could potentially be a great platform for rapid career growth at CHEP. Based at our Macquarie Park office, this role reports to the Manager, Product Development and Customer Solutions.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Taking part in specific projects and tenders across Australia with a view to generating growth and enhancing customer satisfaction
- Project Manage Product Development initiatives and support the implementation of product launches within supply chains
- Providing a value-add service which sets CHEP apart from the competition
- Performing deep dive studies within customer’s supply chains to highlight areas of waste & inefficiency
- Mapping out the value of CHEP’s circular economy model & assets
- Identifying opportunities where CHEP’s range of services can add value and present that value by ways of E2E cost benefit for the customer
- Being an expert in stakeholder mapping and capturing the true VoC that will unearth real supply chain problems for industry channels where an innovative solution and/or service will create additional ‘value proposition’
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Science, Supply Chain or Logistics or a related discipline
- Some experience in an analytical/project management/continuous improvement role, possibly on a graduate program
- Some exposure to supply chain, operations or logistics
- A continuous improvement mindset
- Knowledge of FMCG, industrial and/or retailer supply chains would be highly regarded
- Tenacity and energy in leading change
- Strong analytical skills, process focus - questioning & inquisitive mind set, a logical thinker
- A collaborative approach with the ability to influence across all levels
- A self-starter with energy and enthusiasm
