The Head of Purpose APAC is an evolution of Fujitsus journey, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) APAC and is responsible for ensuring that the regions strategic direction is aligned with the corporations strategic Purpose, the Fujitsu Way and our Materiality for our people, customers, and partners by collaborating with colleagues across the business, both within region and HQ.
This includes responsibility for achieving transformative change across Fujitsu APAC sustainability and environmental programs, inclusion and belonging of our employees, and leveraging technology to create social impact.
**Key Accountabilities**
- Leading the high performing Office of Purpose team and senior leadership collaboration across the business to deliver on the strategic purpose. Outcomes include ongoing refresh and alignment of current policies and processes to deliver impact that is aligned with the spirit and intent of the companys Purpose statement.
**Fujitsu Global Responsible Business**:
- Responsible for liaison with HQ and other global Fujitsu regions to drive alignment with the strategic intent and initiatives of the company, with a focus on leading transformative change around Fujitsus Purpose and The Fujitsu Way.
**Inclusion and Belonging**:
- Position Fujitsu as an Inclusive Employer of Choice by 2026, with representative inclusion of the communities we serve.
- Lead the development and implementation of integrated strategy to best attract, engage, include, develop, and retain a powerfully diverse, talented workforce.
- Lead collaborative partnerships to deliver inclusive pathways development for future talent pipeline.
- Provide strategic guidance for partnerships with our current employee advisory groups by leveraging current best practises.
- Lead engagement with First Nations communities, businesses, and employees to build genuine relationships and strategies that deliver economic, employment and/or educational outcomes through innovative collaboration models.
- Collaboratively develop strategy and implementation to amplify a Purpose-led culture of inclusive wellbeing, leveraging industry best practices, building knowledge and capability among leaders, managers, and employees, as we embed inclusive strategy, policies, and practices across the business.
- Collaborate across the business to reflect inclusion in organisational strategies and business metrics
**Social Impact**:
- Sponsor and ensure success of Fujitsus next Reconciliation Action Plan in Australia by providing best practice leadership, research, and collaboration.
- Champion engagement with our employees and with the non-profit partnerships and local communities in which we live and work in.
- Develop a broad network of strategic relationships to identify new opportunities for social impact through innovative models of engagement and partnership.
- Provide strategic direction and oversee the governance and financial relationships with our existing and new community partnerships.
**Environmental Sustainability**:
- Provide leadership and guidance to drive performance in delivering existing decarbonisation, biodiversity and circular economy strategies through outcome improvements based on best practice.
- Ensure continued compliance with all local and global mandatory environmental sustainability reporting
**Customer engagement**
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to translate customer priorities and Fujitsu innovation through co-creation into scalable initiatives using technology to solve societal challenges.
- Provide strategic guidance and co-creation leadership through internal partnering on customer bids.
**Benchmarking and Reporting**
- Responsible for delivering ambitious Purpose impact for environmental sustainability, diversity, equity and inclusion, and social impact objectives within region while maintaining alignment with global objectives and Fujitsu Corporate Purpose.
- Maintain existing and achieve new local, regional, and global benchmarking and award recognition for Fujitsu environmental sustainability, inclusion and belonging, and social impact activities.
