Baby Bunting is expanding our team to ensure we have the right people to lead and support our growing network of stores and our exciting and ambitious growth agenda. This role is a great opportunity for a motivated & passionate person to join the People & Culture team and make a difference to the health and wellbeing of our valued team members.

Reporting to the General Manager - People & Culture, the Safety, Health & Well Being Manager will be responsible for providing both Strategic and operational leadership to continue driving a strong safety culture across the business, supporting our Stores, Support Centre and Distribution Centre environments in Australia and our expanding New Zealand network.

Utilising your exceptional relationship building and stakeholder engagement skills your key responsibilities will be:

- Lead the development and implementation of our Safety, Health and Wellbeing strategy through partnering across our business, ensuring initiatives and campaigns are effective in supporting our team members health and wellbeing
- Ensure WHS management systems processes and procedures are adhered to and align to relevant legislation and standards with a focus of ongoing continuous improvement.
- Rrovide expert leadership and advice on Injury Management, Return to Work and Workers Compensation, partnering with business leaders to enable identification of alternative duties and ensuring effective relationships with insurers, external service providers and medical practitioners.
- Review, develop and continually improve Administrative and Reporting systems to ensure data insights are provided to Business and support strategic initiatives.
- Provide Coaching and leadership to Safety Coordinator and leaders across the business on Safety and Wellbeing matters.
- Collaborate with Learning & Capability Manager to identify the appropriate HSW training for our team members and leaders

**What you'll bring to the role**:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role; a relevant tertiary qualification such as an allied health discipline or injury management would be considered favourably.
- Have a working knowledge of OH&S/Workers Compensation legislation and a solid knowledge of work-related injury and illness rehabilitation
- Experience in developing and implementing Safety, Health and Wellbeing Strategies with a focus on continuous business improvement
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
- A growth mindset together with a business partner philosophy and a commitment to provide responsive and comprehensive advice;
- Experience working in a face paced, delivery focussed environment and the ability to influence outcomes
- Sound competence of Microsoft Office suite and advanced reporting skills
