**Location**: 380 St Kilda Rd, Melbourne

New opportunity for a **Group Financial Reporting Manager** to join our Group Finance Team, where you will support the Head of Group Accounting in all aspects of the Toll Group financial consolidation and statutory reporting requirements, including the completion of periodic processing and control activities which deliver the timely and accurate reporting of the Group consolidated results, prepared in compliance with established accounting policies and procedures.

As **Group Financial Reporting Manager, you** will liaise with a broad range of stakeholders, including CFO, senior finance leadership team, corporate and business units finance management teams, internal and external auditors, and Global Logistics Accounting Department in Japan Post.

**Key accountabilities include**:

- Assist in preparation/review of the Group’s consolidated accounts (AIFRS & JGAAP), including related internal and Japan Post reporting on a monthly basis.
- Review the preparation of the quarterly reporting to Japan Post.
- Drive the improvement of the accounting processes and knowledge within the Group finance community via development of technical guidance, governing policies, running trainings, etc.
- Support the internal and external audits.
- Assist in preparation/review of the Toll Group annual statutory consolidated financial statements.
- Play a pivotal role in updating the group accounting policies and procedures and any other efforts aimed at improving the financial reporting processes across the group.

**Qualifications**:
**To ensure your success in this role you will possess**:

- 8+ years’ experience in financial reporting/audit role, including 3+ years of supervisory/manager experience.
- Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards with the ability to read and interpret accounting rules and guidance.
- Understanding of overall requirements of Australian taxation legislation.
- Experience with establishing and ensuring effective internal control environment, preparation of consolidated accounts (including foreign currency accounts)., preparation of technical accounting papers.
- Demonstrated ability to establish effective working relationships with others to successfully lead, influence, coach and motivate.
- Expert used of Microsoft suite of products (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- A tertiary degree in Finance/Accounting and CPA or Chartered Accountants qualification.
