**Head of People and Culture** to lead the transformation of their People & Culture function.
Based in either Sydney or Brisbane.
**The role**
Reporting directly to the Managing Director (Australia) and the VP HR & Communications (Sweden), this pivotal position will be responsible for the strategic creation and
** delivery of the People and Culture function nationally. **The successful person will be required to provide HR and operational support, whilst building and promoting a positive work culture in line with the company’s brand and values.
This role is both hands on and strategic, which means no two days are the same, with
** responsibilities **such as:
- Build and deliver a reputation of an organisation that is people-centred and career enhancing, where leading-edge management practice is the norm
- Provide support and coaching nationally, with a key focus on Branch Managers to create champion of change
- Drive the development and new ways of work to help improve, digitalize, and modernise our ways of working from the top down
- Collaborating across different groups within the larger business to drive opportunities around harmonisation, simplification, shared services where appropriate within HR, and in support of other functions
- Actively lead, develop and implement various HR processes in collaboration with other departments and colleagues around the World
- Working with a wide scope of tasks in HR-related areas with a big focus on leadership training, talent management, coaching and feedback
- Travel to other locations/sites to connect with business leaders to develop a deep understanding and connection with teams on the ground
**About you**:
- Degree qualified within Human Resources with **demonstrated experience in delivering a people & culture transformation**, preferably, within the manufacturing industry or similar
- Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary HR practices with an ability to** recognise different levels of cultural maturity whilst uplifting and aligning** all areas of a fragmented organisation
- Design and develop and implement of **culture engagement strategies** and projects
- Deep understanding of the complexity that M&As bring to the People & Culture function of a business
- Demonstrate an ability to work with the leaders to help guide and mitigate the nuances of cultural differences whilst** positively influencing change **where necessary
- Demonstrated commercial awareness and a desire to influence strategic decision making
- Demonstrated ability to translate people's agenda into business activities to drive performance
- Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills, embracing technology to deliver practical solutions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
