**About Us**:
**Our client and their requirements**:
Our client a leading Canberra based business with a wonderful history and a number of successful sites. We are currently sourcing a committed and resourceful individual to join their team in a newly created role as a Parts interpreter.

**The Role**:
This is a new role that has just been created and Ideally the Parts Interpreter will have previous experience and/or a strong interest in European vehicles, namely VW, Audi and Porsche You will make the role your own, as well as have a willingness to collaborate with all relevant areas of the business. You will be customer focussed and possess a can-do attitude.

**Your core duties & responsibilities will include**:

- Handle incoming customer queries in regard to spare parts via phone, or in person.
- Ordering parts for urgent matters and situations, when required.
- Organise, follow up quotations and all associated administration to ensure that parts are accurately priced, ordered, despatched and invoiced ensure of a profitable, responsive and professional department.
- Generate spare parts business by associated selling and advising customers of Promotions.
- Be Proactive, call on customers if required to promote the sale of spare parts.
- Organise and consolidate the maintenance of all parts and associated technical data, contributing to delivering simplified data to manage stock effectively and deliver improved levels of customer service.
- Participate and assist with stocktakes to ensure that actual stock levels are verified against system records to contribute to the preparation of accurate, timely annual company accounts.

**What you will need to succeed**:

- Proven experience in a similar role in an automotive environment, predominantly in spare parts and accessories.
- Ability to Demonstrate a broad understanding of the sector. (European made including VW, Audi and Porsche is highly desired)
- Demonstrated experience in inventory management, highlighting organisational skills.
