MyFirstGym is a one stop fitness shop for children from 7 months right through to 15 years. We deliver outcome based programs and inspire kids to fall in love with movement and fitness.

Our development programs are designed to improve children's physical literacy, while our specialty programs are designed to focus on specific sports. Our specialty programs include Acrobatics, Ninja Warrior, Dance, Gymnastics, Parkour, Boxing and MFG Fit.

The role of a MyFirstGym Coach is to inspire children to fall in love with movement and fitness and help them to feel confident and motivated. MyFirstGym Coaches are not just coaches, they are mentors, friends and role models who are **passionate about working with children.**

Our Martial Arts classes are combat focused classes that emphasise control, discipline, body positioning and specific techniques to self-defend. Children will learn and practice their Martial Arts techniques with experienced coaches in a safe environment.

As a martial arts instructor with MyFirstGym, your excellent interpersonal skills, martial arts experience, and strong teaching/coaching skills will enable you to excel in this role. This is a unique opportunity to help kids learn life skills and gain self-esteem through learning self-defence, while having a lifelong impact on the students who you teach.

**This role includes**:
1. Teaching sound fundamentals to kids of varying ages
2. Having the ability to teach beginners and intermediate students to progress their martial arts and life skills
3. You feel comfortable working with kids
4. Delivering fun and interactive classes through your excellent people skills and ability to engage with students and parents

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Weekend availability

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
