FP&A Manager - Retailer - Northern Sydney

Company Background

Our client is a highly visible retailer with multiple sites around Australia and with a continually expanding footprint. They have clearly defined and realistic plans to make themselves a market leader within the next 3 years. With a number of recent high-profile appointments to the Executive Leadership team, a significant structure review has identified further key skill requirements to lead the Planning and Analyst team.

The Role

Reporting to the CFO, this critical position will have responsibility for:

- Drive and manage the annual budgeting across the business
- Overseeing the preparation of all reporting packs through to the Group and Executive teams
- Maintaining the rolling forecasts for the business, in particular identifying risks and opportunities for their strategic plan
- Communicate the results and recommendations to the Senior management team, and improvements that could lead to cost reductions and revenue generation
- Provide insight to Senior Management around financial modelling, forecasts and profitability
- Preparation of business cases to support new investments and other business decisions.
- Delivery of competitor analysis, market trends and associated commentary to the Executive team

Your Background

To be considered for this business-critical role, there are a couple of key requirements to consider:

- Significant experience in a transformational role, ideally with a multi-site environment
- Significant FP&A experience in large, complex businesses including the use of BI and reporting tools
- Strong and proven leadership and influencing skills with Senior stakeholders
