Join this significant ASX listed corporate during a period of change and transformation. They are a name synonymous with some of the biggest infrastructure and construction projects domestically and pride themselves on a portfolio of products and services that are leading the segments in which they operate.

This highly visible role will be responsible for interacting and providing commentary, management information and insights to the Group Executive, outlining actions and recommendation to drive decision making and deliver outcomes aligned to group strategy.

This role will lead the budgeting/ forecasting planning cycle with ownership of the templates and subsequent commentary and results. You will facilitate monthly updates of actuals against forecast with explanations of variances at a product, state and cluster level. Your regular group reporting activities will include monthly, quarterly, half year and full year analysis as well as driving KPI reporting and understanding the revenue and cost drivers for the group and all its associated entities.

A critical aspect of this role is the ability to engage and influence commercial outcomes at an operational/ business unit level which will provide a platform of influence throughout the Group. In order to achieve this, you will need to have a comprehensive grasp of the levers and performance for each business unit through open communication and collaboration with the Divisional Heads of Finance. A natural curiosity to “get under the bonnet” and interrogate the numbers will be essential in gaining the trust and credibility of the ELT, Board and Investor community when presenting the Group results.

You will be CPA/CA qualified and can demonstrate success operating at a group planning and analysis level for a complex, multi billion dollar Corporate. Previous experience within a commercially geared business unit role will also be viewed favourably and demonstrate your ability to grasp business concepts and drivers to deliver commercial solutions.
