**About The Role**:
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys leading skilled professionals, improving systems, and making a tangible impact on how technology supports essential services.
- Contributing to improving service management and supporting processes to support Melbourne Water Business Units, including SLA’s, OLA’s and KPI’s
- Ensure cost effective financial management of the Asset Information Systems IT Applications services including; reporting, license and contract management.
- Fostering the development and maintenance of relationships with key internal and external customers and stakeholders
- Ensuring the team conducts Product Validation Testing (PVT) of changes impacting their Applications.

**About You**:

- Relevant Tertiary Qualification in IT or equivalent industry working experience. Strong leadership
- ground in managing cross-functional teams within IT and business environments.
- Awareness of standard project management processed (e.g. PRINCE2 or PMP).
- Extensive information technology problem solving experience.
- Excellent understanding of service management delivery methodology, frameworks, and best practice.
- Understanding of IT Cyber security and emerging technologies to assist the organisation.
- Maturity and judgement necessary to contribute to complex decision making.
- High energy to take action and drive business results and efficiencies.
- Ability to lead change and communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Willing to complete Police check.
- Willing to complete an Auscheck (this role is deemed critical according to the SoCI Act - please read information below).

Important Information

The Security of Critical Infrastructure (SoCI) Act 2018 requires Melbourne Water, as an operator of critical infrastructure, to prepare a Critical Infrastructure Risk Management Program (CIRMP), which has been undertaken and managed by the Security and Emergency Management Team.

Melbourne Water are required to assess roles across Melbourne Water to determine what roles are critical under the Act. All employees working in a role deemed SOCI critical will require additional ground checks via AusCheck. The role of Team Lead Asset Information Systems is deemed critical and the preferred applicant will be asked to undertake an AusCheck.
