In line with our focus on digital and content marketing, our Place Bulimba and Coorparoo offices are looking for a full-time Social Media Coordinator to continue to grow our online presence with a unified brand voice. You will be based at our beautiful Bulimba office but have the support of established Corporate Marketing & PR Departments at Place HQ.
As the Social Media Coordinator for these two community-focussed offices, no two days will be the same You will be responsible for autonomously planning, rounding-up and assembling talent, creating, and sharing various forms of content across the Place Bulimba & Coorparoo accounts. You will also manage the Founding Partner and Managing Director, Paul Curtain’s social media, who is an instrumental force in the growth and direction of the Place brand. There is also the potential to take on more within the team as we grow
**Your Big 3 Content Focuses for our business accounts will be**:
- Big Properties
- Big Appointments (Recruitment of our People)
- Big News
This is a full-time position; however, this role will be required to work most Saturdays to cover exciting auctions and open homes with a mid-week RDO.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Managing and producing high-quality, engaging, and shareable content for Place Bulimba and Coorparoo social media pages. Content will be a mixture of video, photography, and graphics supported by copywriting;
- Independently brainstorming content ideas in line with Corporate Marketing guidelines and executing sufficient volume of content to ensure consistency to market;
- Keeping up to date with social media and content trends and sourcing content ideas;
- Educating the agents and their teams on social media best practice;
- Presenting the latest insights and data;
- Representing the Big 3 outlined above, through the timely capture and sharing of content.
**Requirements**:
- 2-3 years of experience producing content for the web and social media.
- Tertiary education in communications, journalism, digital marketing, or other relevant bachelor’s degree is preferable.
- Ability to work independently and pro-actively to brainstorm, arrange and execute content ideas.
- Ability to write and produce quality, original and engaging content.
- Proven track record in creating engaging, shareable content online will be looked upon favourably - including any personal blogs/websites, social media accounts with considerable following, etc.
