**About Us**

SDG is a national award-winning surveying firm based in Baulkham Hills, known for our people-focused culture. We work across Sydney on a wide range of construction projects.

We normally promote from within, but we're now looking for an experienced Construction Surveyor to join the team

This role isn't suited to a solo operator. You'll be part of a tight-knit team of six construction surveyors who support each other on and off site. You'll also work in two-person setout teams, so you'll need experience working with and managing a survey assistant in the field.

**What we’re looking for**:

- Fluent spoken and written English - essential for working with clients and teams on site
- A team player who communicates clearly and efficiently
- A practical problem-solver who can think ahead and adapt to on-site challenges
- Someone who wants to contribute to the bigger picture of a successful company - not just turn up to do a job
- 3+ years' experience in construction surveying, including residential construction
- Experience with Leica equipment and AutoCAD/BricsCAD software
- Diploma or higher in Surveying
- Full Australian working rights
- Valid Construction Induction (White) Card - mandatory for site access
- Valid Australian driver's licence - essential for travelling between sites

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Performing accurate setout calculations from digital plans and models
- Conducting precise site set outs for construction - from small to large builds
- Collaborating with builders, site supervisors, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery
- Documenting every job clearly and accurately
- Troubleshooting and adapting on-site as project needs evolve
- Availability for occasional Saturday work to meet project timelines
