Disability Support Worker

We are searching for fabulous Disability Support Workers in the Sunshine Coast area that have the availability to cover a range of shifts across all days. Shifts will involve assistance with personal care tasks, light domestic duties, and community access.

We are looking for Disability Support Workers who are enthusiastic, committed to their role, and are able to build rapport quickly.

Our wonderful Clients live in all areas on the Sunshine Coast from Noosa Heads down to Caloundra.

**Our base hourly rate for weekdays between the hours of 6am to 8pm is $33.21/hr. Our all-day Saturday rate is $45.33/hr. Our all-day Sunday rate is $58.30/hr. Please note pay rates are set and non-negotiable.**

You will have support in your role via a comprehensive care plan and support from our awesome Support Specialist team.

- **Your key responsibilities & accountabilities**:_
- To deliver high quality support to our Clients in the capacity they require, the exact way they would like it delivered
- Communicate effectively and collaborate for our Clients needs with our Clients, team & Support Specialist
- Understand, follow instructions, and be responsive to our Clients needs
- Provide support to our Clients as required
- Have good rapport building skills and a gentle, encouraging manner
- Be reliable and flexible to fill shifts when required
- Have an interest in building a respectful relationship with our Clients
- To support our Clients to achieve their NDIS Goals
- **To be successful you must**:_
- Resonate with the role description above
- Have a genuine desire to positively change people's lives
- Have evidence of eligibility and right to work in Australia
- Hold NDIS worker screening or yellow card (or willingness to obtain)
- Hold or be willing to obtain a blue card
- Hold a current police check or be willing to obtain
- Hold Certificate III in disability or related fields (preferred)
- Have an open driver’s licence, registered vehicle, and comprehensive insurance (preferred)

**Salary**: $30.00 - $39.99 per hour
