As an **Assistant Nurse **with us, you will work with our residents living in our beautiful Blue Mountains facility and be responsible for providing quality care to residents within the facility to ensure their wellbeing.

**We have a variety of morning, afternoon and night shifts available with permanent part-time and casual vacancies We are happy to work with your schedule**

If you have completed a Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or if you are currently studying a qualification in Nursing, we encourage you to apply

- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Have knowledge and understanding of Work Health and Safety principles

- Be proactive, flexible and willing to show initiative
- Be able to work effectively as part of a team and able to accept direction
- Have a basic knowledge of computers
- Valid NDIS Workers Clearance and working rights within Australia

**Duties of the position**:

- Assist residents with their daily care needs including showering, dressing and meals
- Ensure each residents dignity, privacy and confidentiality is maintained at all times
- Ensure safe use of equipment to assist residents with limited mobility
- Ensure delivery of quality care to each resident as specified on their individual care plan
- Demonstrate an awareness of the physical, social and emotional needs of each resident
- Noting and reporting changes in physical, behavioural or emotional wellbeing of each resident to the registered nurse, in a timely manner
