**YOUR ROLE**
As the Rebates Manager - Commercial Team at Bunzl, you will champion the meticulous management of customer and supplier rebates at our Dandenong South location. You are entrusted with the pivotal task of ensuring stringent compliance and minimising financial risks for the company. Your expertise will be crucial in streamlining the rebate process, identifying insights, and establishing efficient, risk-averse strategies. While ensuring the financial integrity of our rebate processes is paramount, your role will also focus on building strong relationships with suppliers and integrating advanced reporting tools to enhance our strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Rebates Management: Oversee all aspects of rebate processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payments.
- Reporting & Analysis: Produce regular KPI/Metrics reports, offering actionable insights and promoting a data-driven approach for strategic decisions.
- Relationship Building: Lead monthly rebate discussions with suppliers, solidifying the relationship between Bunzl and its partners and addressing any potential process gaps.
- Risk Management: Collaborate with Audit & Risk Management to develop and implement preventative strategies, safeguarding the company's financial interests.

An experienced professional with a firm grounding in financial management, you excel in navigating the complexities of rebates, compliance, and risk. With a keen eye for detail and an analytical mindset, you turn data into actionable insights, using tools like Power BI. As a natural relationship builder, you effortlessly establish and nurture partnerships, always prioritising collaboration and ensuring alignment with all stakeholders.

- Expertise: A strong background in financial management, especially within the realms of rebates, compliance, and risk mitigation.
- Strategic Insight: Capacity to delve into contractual details, extracting actionable insights for informed decision-making.
- Tech-savvy: Proficiency in data visualisation tools, particularly Power BI, converting data into meaningful insights.
- Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding relationship-building skills, nurturing essential connections across various sectors.
- Team Player: An innate collaborative nature, ensuring seamless interactions with both internal teams and external partners.
