**The Opportunity**

Product Manager - Apps role based in our Sydney CBD, Elizabeth Street office overlooking Hyde Park for an initial 12-month fixed term with potential to extend.

The role is accountable for enabling the digital agenda for the aligned business areas with a focus on designing for an excellent customer experience whilst leveraging innovative and emerging technologies.

**Responsibilities**:

- Be responsible for developing the product roadmap, setting an actionable plan and communicating to key stakeholders, vendors and business units. The role will also be responsible for working with Product Owners and development teams to define and iterate the products, solve problems and manage scope
- Champion the digital agenda and provide thought leadership to improve digital maturity through capability uplift and scaling our digital foundations; to deliver business optimisation, efficiencies and enhanced customer experiences
- Lead and support communications and engagement activities to build organisational understanding and buy-in of customer-centric design and benefits realisation
- Develop product roadmaps informed by customer research and insights balanced with the needs of business stakeholders and organisational strategy
- Communicate the product vision to delivery teams guiding them to design, build and validate features that deliver for the customer and meet the current and future needs of the business
- Work with operational, technical and management stakeholders from across Transport for NSW and client divisions to deliver consistent and effective experiences through the mobile app customer channel
- Leverage market trends, innovation and best practice in digital customer information to deliver high quality outcomes for customer needs and ensure apps remain compliant with app store guidelines and requirements

At your core you are a person with passion - for solving problems, working with people and using technology to create exceptional customer experiences

**You have**:

- Strong product management experience, including development and delivery of new products and enhancements of existing mobile apps or digital customer channels.
- A high level of initiative with ability to deal with multiple projects simultaneously and manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into plain English, acting as a bridge between the customer, business and technical delivery teams
- You are obsessed with customer experience and are passionate about continuous improvement
- Demonstrated experience leading product strategy for mobile and/or web tools
- A natural in establishing strong stakeholder relationships, developing trust and influencing with integrity
- Strong experience managing a wide range of stakeholder groups, with an ability to build common understanding across business and technical stakeholders
- Understanding of the agile product delivery, product development lifecycle and innovation cycles

**Salary and Benefits**

The salary for this position is Transport Grade 9 $138,670 - $155,309 per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.?
