**The role**:
The primary responsibility for the Delivery Manager, is the delivery of South East Water’s Digital Meters program. In addtion you will be accountable for the execution of other projects under our Digital Utlilty Program.

In addition, key responsibilities will be:

- Build and maintain a high performing project delivery team to lead the field delivery of a range of Digital Utility projects.
- As a project delivery SME, contribute to the development of project requirements, business cases and benefit statements.
- Ensure all projects are delivered in accordance with agreed project requirements.
- Stakeholder management
- Manage financial forecasts and ensure all projects are delivered within approved Capex and Opex budgets..
- Oversee and monitor the performance of suppliers and delivery partners undertaking project works.
- Contribute to program risk assessments and manage risks associated with project delivery works.
- Contribute to the development of tender specifications and evaluation processes as a SME or evaluator.
- Prepare and review monthly reporting in accordance with agree report schedules.
- Assist the Group Manager, Digital Field Services to provide updates and advice to the Digital Utility Steering Committee, Executive and Board.
- Manage the ongoing performance and development of all members of the Delivery team.

**Who are you?**:
To be successful in this position, you will have:

- Tertiary engineering qualifications, project management qualifications and/or significant experience in the construction or metering services industry.
- Certified Practicing Engineer (Desirable).
- Extensive experience managing workplace health and safety in a construction or field services environment
- Relevant experience scoping, managing and delivering large multi-disciplinary projects and capital programs in the water or a related industry.
- Experience forming and leading high performing project teams in challenging, adaptive environments.
- Extensive experience managing external customer engagement and resolving customer complaints.
- Experience dealing with Government and other regulatory bodies.
- Experience managing suppliers and contractors in a collaborative contract environment.
- Possess a sound financial acumen and understanding of the principles of financial governance.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, along with written and verbal communication
- Able to draw on all available information to make sound decisions with tact and diplomacy.
