**Your new Opportunity at Nine.**

We have a newly-created opportunity for a Social Media Video Producer position within our News & Sport Social team based in our Sydney office. Reporting to the Social Operations Lead, this exciting role will be responsible for producing high-quality, vertical content fit for our highly engaged social pages.

Key responsibilities include:

- End-to-end production of bespoke social content which includes engaging and liaising with Nine’s on-air talent.
- Interpreting creative briefs across a range of verticals (News, Current Affairs & Sport).
- Customising existing news and current affairs content for vertical video platforms
- Working closely with Social Media Producers to ensure content is fit for purpose, aligns with Nine’s tone of voice and captures the key points of a story.
- Scheduling vertical content across social channels natively and via third-party platforms.

In order to succeed, you will ideally have the following qualities,skills and experience:

- Strong working knowledge of vertical video products in the social media space (Reels, Shorts etc.).
- Well-developed, practical experience with Adobe Photoshop ,Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with time-sensitive deadlines.
- A passionate storyteller with strong attention to detail.
- A genuine interest in News and Current Affairs.
- Journalism degree or equivalent.
- Experience with social media management platforms such as Hootsuite & Falcon IO.
- Experience with videography equipment and field production is desirable, but not required.
- Superior written and spoken English and full working rights in Australia.
