Laboratory Technician

NEW WORLD LABORATORIES are looking for experienced CMT technicians to join our base laboratory in Canning Vale for field and laboratory testing roles.

The following minimum criteria apply:

- Valid WA Manual Drivers Licence
- White Card (Construction Safety Induction Card)
- Physically fit and able to perform repetitive and labor-intensive tasks
- Able to pass random drug & alcohol screening
- A current WA Radiation Licence for Portable Density Gauges will be highly advantageous._

Reporting to the laboratory supervisor, you will be required to:

- Perform laboratory and onsite field density testing and sampling of soils, aggregates, concrete and bitumen
- Ensure all testing is performed in accordance with industry standards and NATA accreditation requirements
- Perform ongoing equipment maintenance, checks & calibrations
- Comply at all times with all relevant Health & Safety legislation, Quality Systems and Internal Processes

We provide ongoing on-the-job training and support, with the potential for employees to sign up to complete traineeships in laboratory techniques (Cert IV and beyond).

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
