Greater Shepparton City Council, situated in the heart of the Goulburn Valley, is the fourth largest provincial centre in Victoria and has a well-developed economy due to its strong agricultural and irrigation base, with major industries related to food processing, manufacturing and transport. **Immunisation Support Officer**

An exciting opportunity is available for a highly motivated, passionate and enthusiastic individual to join Greater Shepparton City Council’s Environmental Health team as the Immunisation Support Officer.

This position would suit someone who is passionate about protecting public health from vaccine preventable diseases, has attention to detail and can work collaboratively with stakeholders and the team.

As part of Council’s Immunisation team, which includes casual pool of immunisation nurses, GPs and other staff within the Environmental Health team, you will organise and deliver councils immunisation program to the community of Greater Shepparton according to the National and Victorian Government funded Immunisation Program.

The successful applicant will have substantial communication and administration experience, preferably in the health sector and deliver a professional, empathetic and quality customer service to members of the community from diverse backgrounds.
