**PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**

The Talent Attraction and Retention Specialist is a new standalone role managing the strategic recruitment, talent tapping, attraction, consultation, and engagement within this QLD government department. Reporting into a manager and treated as part of the HR team, you will collaborate with senior leaders in the business, to work on the strategic direction.

**ROLE REQUIREMENTS**
- Proven experience in delivering a HR strategic piece of work, incorporating strategic analysis and planning experience.
- Develop attraction and retention strategies for the business.
- Analysis of current recruitment, advertising, tools, and employee retention schemes and identify innovative enhancements to current practices.
- Undertake monitoring and reporting of implemented strategies and make necessary adjustments including create future strategic plans
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage your time and prioritise tasks.

**COMPANY BENEFITS**
- Flexible working arrangements with 2-3 days in the office and the rest working from home. Please note at the beginning of the contract, more days will be required in the office to allow for appropriate introductions.
- This is an initial 6-month contract, with the potential for ongoing work.
