Stirling, Australia Warrigal Full time

**Roster Scheduling Officer | Stirling**

Most of us want to know we’re doing work that matters. But a lot of us struggle to build careers that allow for it, so we end up working long hours in demanding roles.

At Warrigal, you’ll get to swap the hustle for a career with purpose. One that makes a positive difference to the lives of older people and their families.

For us, there’s no greater honour. When we bring joy and quality of life to older people, we give them the dignity, community, and belonging they deserve. We allow them to enjoy better quality time and build lasting memories with their families, and we create a society that celebrates and respects aging.

No matter your role at Warrigal, each one of us is contributing to this legacy, ensuring it’s passed down from generation to generation.

**The opportunity**

In this role, you will report to the Roster Team Leader and be responsible for the response rostering process.

**The benefits | Recognising your value**
- Hourly rate - $27.66- $34.89 - based on experience + super

- High level of knowledge and experience working in a rostering or scheduling role within a complex, fast paced and multidisciplinary 24/7 industry.
- Well-developed capacity to manage the competing demands of a busy environment, work to deadlines and maintain attention to detail
- A sound working knowledge of Enterprise agreement interpretation and fatigue management principles
- Extensive knowledge of Rostering, Payroll process and Time Capture systems including experience undertaking system administration functions to keep the Rostering system up to date
- Demonstrate effective communication skills and the ability to liaise with staff and managers to coordinate shifts

**What our people love about working here**:
**A focus on purpose over profit**: As a not-for-profit organisation, our leaders and board care deeply about the vision. What’s in the best interests of older people always trumps profits. Everything goes back into the business. And everything you do has a meaningful impact in the local community.

**Leaders who value you**: It’s important you feel valued. To us, this is not a one-off task. But a commitment to creating an environment where you feel seen, heard and valued - every day. Leaders and managers go out of their way to understand you, respect your opinions and hear what you have to say. This creates greater unity and collaboration with each other.

**One team, united in our purpose**: We support older people to have great lives. We put older people first in everything we do. On an everyday level, we help them age with dignity, independence, happiness and connectedness. On a big picture level, we’re challenging ageist thinking in Australia. This is the Warrigal Way.

**Who we are | A community who cares**

Warrigal has firmly established itself in the aged care community for over 60 years. We’re proud of the diverse range of retirement living and aged care services we’ve built up in that time, but we still have the same appetite to grow and innovate. Meaning, you’ll have the chance to move around, get promoted or explore different areas across our expanding business in Illawarra, Southern Highlands, Queanbeyan, and Canberra - if that’s what you want.

**Do work that matters to you**

This is your chance to do work that matters, and make a meaningful difference to the lives of Australia’s older community - now and in the future.

**JOIN US AND BE THE DIFFERENCE**

If successful, you may be asked to do a medical, National Criminal History Check or NDIS Worker Screening Check, and provide references.
