Play a key role in shaping the culture of a world-leading company behind some of the world’s most spectacular natural stone.

Our client is seeking a warehouse operations manager to oversee the entire distribution plan of the business and manage the warehouse operations by projecting, dispatching, and storing.

Ensure the warehouse runs smoothly, forecast the product volume and create pick-up and drop-off schedules.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Control and manage the Inventory of the location
- Organize and maintain delivery schedule daily with efficient route planning
- Lead and maintain a safe working area ensuring that Health and Safety policy and procedures are met
- Interact with customers and vendors as need
- Responsible for quality control by reviewing all incoming and outgoing product for damage
- Operate within standard operating procedures and Job Safety Analysis
- Operate and coordinate forklift, trucks as need
- Responsible for coordinating vehicle maintenance as needed
- Manage all customer conflict that arises from various problems that may occur when shipping and receiving material
- Monitor service levels of orders and meet the service commitments to customers
- High understanding of all warehouse distribution processes, from receiving, pick pack, inventory management, transport scheduling and carrier management.
- High level of OH&S compliance
- Maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace at all times
- Accuracy, and attention to detail is a must
- Understand products and materials commonly used

**Skills and Experience**:

- High experience essential (ideally in stone or similar industry)
- Current Medium or Heavy Rigid truck license
- Forklift license
- Tech Savvy - operating apps for deliveries
- Experienced in handling heavy weights both manually and on the forklift
- Ability to comply with all OHS system requirements
- Well-developed problem resolution and decision-making skills;
- Strong skills in time management and prioritising
- Strong communication skills;
- The ability to interact with a diverse range of people;
- Attention to detail and high procedural compliance;
- A positive disposition, motivation and the ability to create and work in a team environment.
