**Purpose**
The primary purpose of the Corporate Wholesale Team Manager (Warehouse) is to manage the operation in the warehouse across the CWS order preparation, dispatch and logistics, whilst also working in collaboration with the CWS sales team to solve all customer service requirements. They must ensure they and their team comply with workplace health and safety and food safety policies.
**Key Responsibilities**
CWS warehousing
- Ensure all CWS orders are picked on time, in full and despatched on the due date.
- Coordinate the best load planning for order picking across the week, aligning with the CWS sales team in advance.
- Ensure that all picking is conducted according to FIFO and MLOR rules.
- Allocate staff appropriately and work with the team to ensure the correct focus on achieving the delivery expectations of our customers.
- Ensure orders are completed in line with any special instructions.
- Manage order exceptions as they occur, solving resource, material and logistic issues.
- Collaborate and liaise with other internal and external stakeholders to understand and action special customer requirements.
- Communicate customisation requirements to the team and ensure team adherence to requirements and quality standards.
- Complete all necessary system transactions and documentation in a timely and efficient manner.
- Oversee the transport of products, working closely with and communicating with drivers to ensure efficient delivery of packages.
- Work closely with the ecommerce specialist to ensure the correct allocation of stock to the relevant orders.
- Respond to internal delivery queries in a timely manner.
- Support all continuous projects as requested.
- Work with the CWS and planning teams to create and implement seasonal distribution models.
- Oversee the management of the Ricoh and the relevant customer service processes as required.
- Resolve all system issues with the digital team and provide timely answers and feedback to ensure as close to 100% uptime as possible.
**Inventory Management**
- Manage stock both physically and digitally, in the CWS location.
- Drive a weekly cycle count process including variance investigation working with relevant stakeholders.
- Working with the digital and planning team to support the root cause investigation of DIFOT failures.
- Conduct root cause investigations of all dated and damaged stock.
- Perform emergency stock transfer as required from the main FG warehouse in collaboration with the Retail and Outbound Warehouse Team Manager.
- Organize the put away of the transfer orders secured by the Sales Operations and Support Administrator and actioned by the Retail & Main Warehouse team
- Provide monthly stocktake variance reports.
- Support the management of the stock level of online consumables and coordinate with the Online team manager (Warehouse) for forward ordering, propose the seasonal purchases based on expected order volumes at least 6 weeks before the season starts.
**Quality**
- Ensure that Allergens policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Ensure Good Manufacturing Practises (GMP) to achieve optimal product quality.
- Maintain a tidy and organised work environment.
- Report any non-conformance incidents to the appropriate manager.
- Report suspected specification and process deviations to the quality manager.
- Support the QA team with embedding food safety culture as required.
- Adhere to HACCP standards.
**People and Organisation**
- Create and maintain a healthy and motivated work environment within the team.
- Role model adhering to standards and policies.
- Communicate training needs to the appropriate manager.
**Performance Management and Leadershi**p
- Appropriately allocate staff according to the daily and weekly requirements of the business.
- Support and motivate teams in achieving daily targets and goals.
- Process timesheets and overtime in Tanda.
- Appropriately manage overtime as required.
- Monitor individual performances, providing ongoing feedback and support.
- Seek to resolve any issues and conflict within the team, escalate issues as appropriate.
- Train and support new team members and provide feedback on a regular basis.
- Actively listen to concerns and potential opportunities raised by team members and escalate as required.
- Address any non-compliance matters immediately, and where applicable report them to the appropriate Manager.
- Complete PPRD’s for staff members as required.
**Continuous Improvement**
- Contribute to the development and implementation of standard operating procedures.
- Provide feedback on ways to increase efficiency, improve quality or reduce risk in your area.
