Sydney- Investment Banking- PermanentOur client is a leading global Institutional / Corporate Bank with a sizeable presence in Sydney. They are seeking a Business Support Officer to assist with Syndicated Loan, Bilateral Loan Facilities and Bank Guarantees documentation.

Purpose of the role is to assist in the setting up of clients, recording and safekeeping of Documentation, maintenance of Authorised Signature and Dealers Lists, in preparation and submission of Monthly/Quarterly/Half Yearly and Yearly reports to Head Office, regulatory or any ad-hoc reporting, Business Support administration to Front Office, input of Financial Covenants, and assistance to other member of the Business Support and other administrative duties as directed.

**Key Tasks**:

- Bank Guarantees and counter guarantee cross boarder issuance
- Maintenance of records - accurate and up to date maintenance of all relevant records
- Data Entry - accurate input of client details into Bank systems
- Completion of reports - timely and accurate completion of reports as required
- Financial Covenants
- Bank audit confirmation and balance certificate
- Proper recording and safe custody of documentation and reports
- Documentation to contain key requirements and be in a format acceptable
- Professionally represent the Bank when dealing with external parties
- With manager to have input into the improvement of Business support management systems and processes as well as the systems; and processes used by other areas that effect Business Services Division

**Key Competencies/Experience**:

- Understanding of documentation for both Syndicated, Bilateral Facilities and Bank Guarantees
- Intermediate computer literacy, especially in MS Office Suite
- Banking experience preferably in a similar role within a Commercial/Institutional Bank
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- High understanding of computer skills (Word, Microsoft Excel, Power point, reports writing) would be an advantage
