You are an inspirational leader and impassioned foodie (with a particular love of meatballs) demonstrating love and commitment to food, its quality and presentation while always ensuring customers are in focus. You are a true customer advocate who takes pride in the service and product you deliver and can influence and communicate effectively on all levels. Within a largely operational role you still lead, support, coach, and mentor co-workers in your team so they can grow professionally and continue to meet our customers with empathy and care. Experience working with HACCP standards will be highly regarded. You are also available to work across the store opening hours, including some early mornings or late nights and every other weekend.

**Your responsibilities**

As IKEA Food Team Leader your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

- Lead, develop and coach your team of co-workers to ensure they are given the necessary support, training and mentoring so they can provide an exceptional customer experience.
- Ensure daily operational routines and actions in IKEA Food Quality and Food Safety Policies and routines are implemented.
- Ensure the Customer Restaurant is efficiently maintained as well as clean, organised and inviting to provide a positive customer experience.
- Actively sell our IKEA Food products that customers love and find creative ways to merchandise and drive sales.
- Understand the overview of the store business plan and IKEA Food action plans to contribute to the department action plan and help implement and drive this in the team.
- Strong ability to support and lead change management within the department and the wider store.

The key role of the IKEA Food team is to serve our customers ensuring they have a positive experience in our store to give our visitors a tasty reason to return. Together we strive to deliver a prime dining experience for the customer shopping journey and ensure our shoppers and their stomachs are truly satisfied.
