Talent International is searching for experienced Data Analyst to join our client, a large utility company based in Brisbane. This is a 12-month contract based in Brisbane.

**About the Role**:
The Data Analyst will be responsible for the maintenance of existing reports and dashboards, and the development of new reporting solutions that measure business performance.

This role plays a key part of the organisation's ongoing priority to improve performance by becoming more data driven.

The Data Analyst will be an effective collaborator and communicator who works closely with stakeholders from across the business.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide expertise in delivering Power BI reporting solutions
- Provide analytical and data visualisation skills
- Support the configuration of existing systems to simplify and improve the generation of meaningful information
- Develop monthly executive and board report
- Develop improvement recommendations for existing systems or reports, that result in improved data quality and the generation of more meaningful management information
- Integrate new data sources into reporting to improve insights
- Ensure effective documentation and knowledge management is in place for new and existing reporting processes
- Work with other data and reporting analysts across the organisation to share learnings and continually improve the effective use of data

**Skills and Experience Required**:

- 5+ years of relevant experience
- A strong quality orientation when producing reports or analysis
- Pro-active, goal oriented with excellent attention to detail and a drive to deliver
- Maintain and move rapidly and seamlessly between 'big picture' vision and detail/tactical level work plans
- Demonstrated knowledge of modern management information systems, including the maintenance of data integrity across the data lifecycle
- Experienced transforming data into valuable insights, producing reports and analysis from management information
- Experienced producing Power BI reporting, including the use of SQL, DAX and M code to query, model or transform data
- Knowledge of MS Power Platform and Sharepoint useful, but not essential
