**The Company**

**The Role**
Reporting to the CFO, this role will see you play a critical role in helping the business to understand their data quickly and turn it into actionable insights in order to drive greater opportunities for revenue growth. Your role will span over 3 main areas: working with the finance team to manage all account payables, partnering with sales and marketing to advise them on better ways to manage their cost centres, expenses, P/L, ROI, budgets, actuals, and forecasts. Critical to this role is your analytical ability to analyse large Excel data sets and to create detailed reporting and recommendations for market trends, SKU opportunities, customer profitability, structured pricing and overall recommendations to continually improve margins and costs.
Responsibilities include:
- Take ownership of all the Accounts Payable ensuring all suppliers are paid in accordance with the agreed terms of business.
- Review cash flow to ensure spend is in order with up and coming marketing costs and expenses.
- Collect and analyse large sets of data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions.
- Work with other Finance team members to ensure data is properly stored, organised, and cleaned for analysis purposes.
- Develop predictive models and perform analyses to forecast future sales trends and identify areas for SKU improvement.
- Communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders through clear and concise presentations and reports.
- Monitor, evaluate and review the ROI on the performance of sales and marketing initiatives as needed, and provide recommendations for improvement based on data insights.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest tools and techniques for data analysis and visualisation, and recommend new technologies that could improve analysis processes.
**Required Skills & Experience**
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field including accounting or financial analysis
- 2-5 years of experience in commercial data analysis or related field
- Experience working with large excel data sets, and extracting actionable insights into weekly reports
- Exceptionally strong commercial acumen with a proven background in working with a fast growing business
- Strong accounting knowledge working with AP, P/L, budgets, actuals forecasts
- You have an incredible eye for detail and can demonstrate to the business your recommendations and problem solving skills to gain greater business outcomes
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams to gather data, analyse data requirements and deliver insights to stakeholders
- Proven ability to identify trends and provide recommendations on revenue growth drawn from marketing and sales analytics, SKU analysis, customer segmentation and forecasting.
- Able to work collaboratively with other teams and stakeholders, while also being able to work independently to develop and execute analysis projects.
