**Disability Support Worker**:

- $38.00- $68.30 per hour
- Morning Shifts - Monday to Sunday
- Based in Schofields

**About the Company**:
Unidex Healthcare are a privately owned recruitment company established in 2001 and operate across Australia, with our main offices in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland. Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specialising in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health.

**The Role**:
We are currently looking for Support Workers to assist one of our participants located in **Schofields** in New South Wales. Our participant is a male with a spinal cord injury and requires 2:1 assistance. He requires support workers he can have a good chat and laugh with.

The current care plan in place requires support in 2 hour blocks Monday to Sunday. The shift hours are 7:00am - 9:00am.

This role will be commencing from the 21st of August, therefore sucessful candidiates must have flexibility with commencement availability.

**Pay rates are**:
Day - **$38.00 p/h**

Sat - **$53.20 p/h**

Sun - **$68.40 p/h**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assistance with **personal care.**
- Assistance with **manual handling.**
- Assistance with **domestic care.**
- Conducting **bowel therapy** - training provided.
- Assistance with **meal preparation.**
- Providing **transportation.**
- Building **companionship.**

**Requirements**:

- Must have a current driver's license and reliable transport
- Working with Childrens Check (Blue Card)
- Yellow Card or NDIS Screening Card
- Current First Aid - completed within the last 36 months
- Current CPR - completed within the last 12 months
- National Police Clearance - completed within the last 12 months
- Prior experience working with people who have complex care needs.
- Positive attitude and flexibility in shift times.
