**About the role**

This newly created position will suit a creative and driven human resources professional who enjoys working in a cohesive team. The HR Business Partner: Performance and Engagement is responsible for three strategically important focus areas:

- Identifying and mapping JBS Australia’s competency framework
- Embedding the company’s performance framework
- Implementing the team member engagement framework

**Responsibilities include**
- Engaging key operational and corporate stakeholders regarding competency and organisational performance requirements and team member engagement
- Providing best-practice advice on competency frameworks, performance management and team member development and engagement
- Overseeing the policy and procedure design for the three focus areas, ensuring linkages to relevant HR systems and processes (for example learning, succession and selection)
- Developing and implementing training for the successful implementation of all steps in the performance cycle

**About you**
- Demonstrable experience in developing evidence-based organisational frameworks for competencies and performance development
- Ability to lead and influence others
- Must be effective in developing and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships
- Tertiary qualifications (preferably postgraduate) in human resources, organisation development, psychology, workforce capability or related field (or equivalent experience)
