**Disability Support Worker -**

We are looking for an enthusiastic support worker, loves sports, who is able to communicate fluently in English, to meet the needs of our clients.

The disability support worker is responsible for implementing, training, and support services and maximising people's living, employment, social, and recreational skills with a disability. Community inclusion, independence, decision making, and personal choice should be promoted through support, focusing on individual needs.

**Selection Criteria**

Ø Must be Committed to promoting Empowerment, respect, dignity and inclusion when supporting participating and carers.

Ø Excellent Communication skills with developed interpersonal skills.

Ø Driving's License, car and comprehensive car insurance.

Ø Working with Children Check (WWCC)

Ø First Aid & CPR

Ø National Police Check

Ø NDIS Worker Screening Check

Ø NDIS Worker Orientation Module

Ø New Worker NDIS Induction Module

Ø Minimum Certificate III in Disability Studies or related fields (essential)

Ø Demonstrated ability and skill to use person-centred care

Ø Possess well-developed written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, including conflict resolution, negotiation, problem-solving, and the ability to communicate effectively as a team member.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $31.76 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Burwood, NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (required)
- Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: On the road
