Focus Disability Support is a disability support service with a difference. We offer a range of support services to individuals who are part of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and their families.

At Focus Disability Support Service, we’re passionate about our clients and their families taking charge of their lives and regain choice over how they live by providing the right service at exactly the right time.

**We are looking for Support Workers on a Fulltime, Part-time and Casual basis, based within Bankstown and Canterbury suburbs. You must be available on weekdays and weekends.**

**The Role**:
Provide care and support to clients in line with their personalised care plans including:

- Providing personal care with respect and dignity
- Domestic assistance
- Following behaviour support plans to support participants live more independently
- Social support and group participation
- Life skills development and promoting participants choice and control in their daily activities
- Transportation
- Meal Preparation

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- Must have flexible availability: Weekdays and Weekends
- Current First Aid Certificate and Working with Children’s Check
- Qualification in Disability, Aged Care, Community and/or Experience in a similar role
- Current NSW Driver's Licence (P2 and above) and access to a car.
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- NDIS Workers Screening Check
- To work at FCSS, the successful applicant must undergo a NDIS Workers Check and a NSW Working with Children Check. It is also a requirement under NSW Health for all disability support workers to have had their third vaccination or a medical exemption._

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Night shift

COVID-19 considerations:
It is a requirement under NSW Health for all disability support workers to have had their third vaccination or a medical exemption.
